well i have tried basically everything but the one downloading website i do like is LIMEWIRE shock i know! i has tuns and tuns of viruses but i have a very good secure anti virus protection software (avast 4.8 professional edition) so do you think if i carried on using limewire i would be safe or?

Your computer will be susceptible to viruses with ANY free download site. The paid versions usually have their own virus protection.
I also use Limewire. I actually had to get a new computer, because the viavast professional free downloadruses wiped everything out. Limewire seems to have some nice new improvements. I normally only go on to download a few songs I like, and I quickly sign off. Do not leave it up and running on your computer.
Well one way is that find the music you want to listen to on youtube and convert it to mp3. Firefox even has an add on. Or try this site
