My bearshare just won't start. I keep clicking on the little icon on my desktop, but the all that happens is that it becomes highlighted, the little sand timer thingy appeares for as few seconds, and then it just goes back and nothing happens. How do I fix it bearsharewithout updating to one of the newer versions?
Spybot S&D or AdAware
Bearshare is spyware
Try re-installing it, or report to the Bearshare forums for help.
If not i recommend switching to Limewire/Frostwire or Ares all three work great (tried Bearshare, dbearshareidint like it not much search results) Hope that helped : ]
Hit CTRL + ATL + DEL
Go to the proccess tab in the task manager. End any proccess called Bearshare.exe or bearS.exe. ect....
Then try again.
Or simply restart your computer.
