Picnik, FotoFlexer or Lunapic are great all round web based and FREE editing tools. Adobe, makers of the expensive Photoshop, now has a free website version in Photoshop Express. If you need/want more features downloading GIMP is a great options. Still free, but you have to download the software. There are also free tools to add text blurbs, to make collagesdownload photo retouching software, to put your photo into other images. There are a number of tools that allow you to put the image of a face into other photos for some fun creations. Check out the links below for more ideas.
Gimp is the most powerful one out there. It's available at gimp.org, and you can also find tutorials there. It's fairly complex and has a lot of features. If yodownload photo retouching softwareu want something simpler, try Paint.net, Photofiltre or Picasa.
Picasa (picasa.google.com) has a fair retouching tool.
I'm pretty sure the GIMP (gimp.org) would also have one, but it'd be a bit complicated.
Photoshop has two ways to retouch: heal or clone stamp.
Go to snapfiles.com or download.com and check out the freeware image editors.
